RACZ26 WILL SUPPORT DOMESTICI AND PALLIATIVE CARE !!!
With great passion we would like to announce great news. This year's RACZ will have also its charitable side.

Some of you may remember how Martin Souček, a Czech ultrarider, bikepacking enthusiast, RAAM finisher and initiator ...of popular project Domestici, organized for our Riders a spontaneous refreshment station, near his home, at first night ... We definitely didn´t forget his gesture, and would like to return this favor.

During winter, we agreed on a great cooperation with Martin, thanks to which not only our Riders, but also their friends, families and all RACZ fans will be able to financially support his noble project, which tries to improve palliative care in Czech Republic.

The Riders themselves will be given 3 options to become Domestici:
1) donate 1 CZK for every kilometer ridden during RACZ26
2) organize a collection among their fans and friends
3) donate remains of the deposit on GPS tracker

In addition, entire community around UltraBikers Cup will be working hard for Domestici whole July, and its participants will be raising money, through our challenge "48 hours for Charity".

We as organizers will donate 100 CZK from each Rider´s entry fee and from each cycling cap (for RACZ26 we created limited edition design with Domestici´s logo).

As a small revenge, the Domestici will repeat their nightly Refreshment, and at 240 km will give our Riders another opportunity to refill their water and take food supplies for a night ride.

And of course, Martin Souček himself will also be actively involved. He was going to race in the first phase of our agreement. And he would definitely rank among the main favorites to win. But in the end, this story gets even stronger level... Martin ultimately decided not to compete for winning. Instead, he will take on the role of Domestic and will complete RACZ26 as a teammate, mentor and support for his friend Tomáš Hruška, for whom our Race will be his bikepacking debut.

Martin will also made a diashow for our Riders at our pre-start meeting in Chodovar brewery, in which he will present his charity project and then share his experiences from Race Across America, which he completed in 2024 together with Tomáš Navrátil.

This should be really coooool edition!

MEET NEW RACZ26 RIDERS
During February we got new 14 registrations, so now we are at 120 Riders. Not all of them shared a photo, but here are most of them.

We remind, that March is a last month for basic entry fee, from 1st April we are adding +20e to both routes, so it will rise to ...170e on long route, and 150e on short.

Also our booked accommodation facilites are almost full, so if you are considering to participate on RACZ26, will be better to not to put it off longer.

4TH SECTION, PART TWO
And here we come with a last gallery and introduction of RACZ26 Route.

Behind Břeclav, prepare for the wildest section of whole Route, in flood forest plains in Soutok reserve, around majestic confluence of rivers Dyje and Morava.

Fast... roads near Hodonín follow, with several sandy pitfalls and breath taking viewpoint on Morava in Osypané břehy reserve.

Then just a nice cycling path to Veselí, few wineyards and traditional villages ... and our Final Push to Velká Javořina.

We are sure you will love this part, no matter the fatigue in your legs and head.

4TH SECTION, PART ONE
We hope, that just a few Riders will use advantage of our new Finish 800 at RP3, and most of them will continue through 4th section and become finishers of Main Route at Velká Javořina.

This 300km - mostly flat - stretch in south Moravia serve ...as a reward.

Huge nucler power station Dukovany, dozens of ponds, wineyards and limestone hills of Pálava, traditional small villages, amazing architecture jewells such as Moravský Krumlov, Mikulov or Lednice or mystical ruin of Rosa Coeli.

Plus add nice people and lot of fine places to take food, beer or icecream, We are sure, you will enjoy every kilometre here!

3RD SECTION, PART TWO
Second half of third section will lead along river Dyje and its water dam Podyjí, through green forests of national park Podyjí, between fields and wineyards of Znojmo area and will finish on the beach at Dalešice water dam, in Wilsonka campsite.

For a first time in our history, Riders will be allowed to finish at RP3 and become "Finishers 800".

Third section has 265km, with cca 3200m elevation.

3RD SECTION, PART ONE
Third section of RACZ26 Route will take our Riders into natural beauties of Česká Kanada, where you can expect rather wavy ride through fresh forests, along dark ponds and enjoy its silence and flow mode on some superb gravel roads.

Among the ...biggest attractions we must mention town Jindřichův Hradec, bison ranch in Rožnov, Landštejn castle, picturesque Telč or robust Bítov.

2ND SECTION, PART TWO
Today let´s check our Route between 360. km and 555. km, which passes trhough Nové Hrady mountains and pond area near Třeboň, and after visiting picturesque chateaux Červená Lhota you will hit RP2 in Holenský, almost exactly in the middle of main ...Route.

This part is quite fast, with rather short and not especially steep ascents.

Still very remoted, deep in the nature...

2ND SECTION; PART ONE
Let´s continue with introducing of RACZ26 Route.

Today with a first half of 2nd section, between Prášily and Český Krumlov.

This 170 km part will offer some of the natural beauties of Šumava (including highest point of whole Route... at 1260m), great ride along Vltava river and one of czech most attractive historical jewell in old town of Český Krumlov.

Altough the weather wasn´t very friendly during our scouting of this part - so nor the pictures are in its best - we can promise you will fully enjoy it ;-)
