CHARITY COLLECTION FOR DOMESTICI !!!
As you should already know, during RACZ26 we would like to support a charity project "Domestici", which tries to improve palliative care in Czechia.

Martin Souček - elite czech ultracyclist and initiator and main boss of Domestici - will... attend this year´s edition as a Rider and will introduce Domestici during pre-start meeting.

All Riders will get a chance to become Domestics, but if also you - if you like our event and purpose of Domestici activities - can help them by sending voluntary amount, through collection on their website:

Our goal is to raise 250 000 CZK (10 000 EUR) - and our team tried to lead by example and send first 20 000 CZK.

JOIN US FOR A SOCIAL RIDE
Last year we established a new tradition and organized cca 40km Social Ride, where Riders - but also their friends or racz fans - can test their bike and legs, meet with other Riders in easy pace and discover some other nice places of mostwestern part of Czechia.

We start tommorow, on Wednesday 8th July, at 2pm, from Chodovar brewery. We plan a route to Marianské Lázně, with stop for an ice cream nearby iconic "Singing fountain", and for a beer in local pub Pod tribunou.

You are all warmly invited!

POZVÁNKA NA START RACZ26
Po čtyřech ročnících víceméně "na tajňáka" bude mít letošní edice RACZ konečně slavnostní start trochu na úrovni - z krásného náměstí Svobody v Plané, za podpory paní starostky a za asistence městské policie.

Nečekejte ...nafukovací bránu ani kovové ploty. Nemáme ani DJe. Ale jsme přesvědčeni že start 1100km poutě, přes hory a doly až na Velkou Javořinu, bude pro všechny zúčastněné silným zážitkem.

Zveme tímto na start také všechny občany Plané, rodinné příslušníky závodníky a všechny srdcaře z komunity okolo Bikepackingu a UB Cupu.

Vyrážíme ve čtvrtek v 8:00, možná lehce po 😉

RACZ26 RESTPOINTS
RestPoints became a crucial part of our event´s organization.

They serve as a caravanserai in a desert, where pilgrims had a chance to take a rest, get some food, and in our case also meet with a Team and other Riders.

For RACZ26 we arranged them in these ...superb places:
190. km - hostinec U Michala in Prášily
560. km - Holenský Dvůr
810. km - Dalešice brewery

All of them have awesome atmosphere and we are sure, that our Riders will enjoy their time here. Mainly Dalešice brewery is incredibly picturesque.

We would like to invite also RACZ fans And whole community around UB Cup to come here during the Race, to taste its vibe And meet friends.

We visited RP2 And RP3 on Thursday and filled it Will some food a finisher merch 🏅

RACZ26 HIGHLIGHTS AND UB TRACKING
Also for this year´s edition we will give a chance to our Riders to share their photos and experience from 12 biggest highlights of The Route.

RACZ26 RIDERS
On Sunday, we closed this year's starting list, and since no one else has joined, 10 days before, 132 Riders are ready for RACZ26 start.

112 are preparing for the main 1100km route, while 20 will satisfy with shorter 800km route, with finish at RP3.

...Unfortunately, quite a lot women withdrew during spring, so just 6 warriors will be fighting in "solo female" category. Another 4 women are in "pairs/group" category, where are also just 4 pairs, 37 Riders are in 50+ category.

12 countries around the world will send their representatives to the fight.

While on RACZ24, the biggest favorite was Tim De Witte and on RACZ25 Štěpán Stránský - who both fulfilled their roles and won their previous editions - this year the list of candidates for victory is much longer.

So it should be superinteresting until last kilometre!

RACZ26 REGISTRATION CLOSE ON SUNDAY
Well, the time is flying like crazy, and we will be finishing organization of RACZ26 during next 10 days.

So, if you are still deciding participating on this year´s edition of our event, please register until Sunday 28th June.

We have still 23 days left until the start of the fifth edition of Race Across Czechia, but let's introduce you our traditional banner, which will accompany the Riders from the pre-start meeting at the Chodovar brewery to the finish line at Velká Javořina.

You can find there one more awesome change in our list of RestPoints. A little at the last minute - and finally on the third attempt - we managed to arrange RP3/Finish 800 in magnificent brewery in Dalešice.

Czech fans and Riders will know it very well, especially because the famous Czech comedy Postřižiny was filmed in its historical premises.
